In October 2006 much to my wifes dismay part of our garden in Moron de la Frontera in Spain was cleared to make room for the building of a boat!

The boat in question is a 38ft steel Spray based on the original wooden craft sailed by Joshua Slocam single handed around the World in the early 1900s

I had taken delivery of the steel in another part of Spain two years earlier but work and family problems had meant I could not start construction there.
